TEACHING

Pete Zimmer offers comprehensive one-hour private lessons at his NYC studio or worldwide online via Skype. Students interested please email pete@petezimmer.com for further questions or to make an appointment. Rate is based on a sliding scale when applies. Standard rate is below.

Pete Zimmer has been teaching private lessons to various ages and levels for over 15 years. He also conducts Clinics and Master-classes at many of the Collegiate Jazz Study programs throughout the USA and UK that have included: Birmingham Conservatoire, Indiana University, Leeds College of Music, Loyola University (New Orleans), Ohio State University, Middlesex University, Northern Illinois University, Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College of Music, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Mr. Zimmer holds a BA from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and has studied with many great teachers including, but not limited to: Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Steve Houghton, Cecil McBee, Bob Moses, Danilo Perez, George Russell, Jim Sewrey, Joel Spencer, and Jeff Stitely.
